An Update from Rachel and the Junior Village!

Hello from Junior Village!

The Juniors have been extremely busy this session at camp. While the seniors were away on their trips last week, we had two days where Juniors ruled the camp! On one of those days we had Switch Day, where the Owego boys got to come over here and try our activities, and then in the afternoon we got to go over there and try theirs! Fencing, anyone? The following day, Juniors had their annual “Guinness Book of Camp Records” program, where junior girls went all around camp trying to beat records set previously by juniors from last summer. Most number of foul shots in a minute, longest held handstand, fastest 52-card pick-up…. The list of records uncovered many hidden talents, and many records were broken! That afternoon the Juniors went to Owegoland, filled with inflatable obstacle courses, ice cream floats, and swimming!

This week promises to be just as busy, with Juniors going to Costa’s tomorrow, and the long-awaited performance of Annie on Friday! And of course, you’ll hear the Juniors chanting all day long, “We want, we want, Pioneer Days! Pioneer Days! Pleeeeeeease??”

In the meantime, we’re SO excited to watch out big sisters, the SENIORS, in tonight’s senior lip sync!

J-U-N-I-O-R-S! Juniors, juniors, we’re the best!
