Circus, Juniors on the Delaware, a Swim Meet and More!

Good afternoon, friends!

Let’s start at the very beginning of this extra-fun, whirlwind day at camp. We definitely enjoyed a much-needed late sleep this morning, especially because it was a dark, chilly, rainy start. By lineup, though, the clouds parted, and the rain stopped! Yeehhaaa! We enjoyed a traditional English breakfast and some warm, yummy cinnamon buns before heading out to start our day. Oh, we enjoyed some puddle jumping too 🙂

But it’s no ordinary day. Many of our fab juniors chose to head out today and conquer the Delaware River by canoe! They did! And were back in time for lunch! Amazing!

And though ordinary activities continued, each age group took turns with circus clinics! That’s right, The National Circus Project was here today to teach us circus tricks and entertain. Tonight, they’ll treat the entire camp to a performance, and we can’t wait!

Wait! Let’s back up for a minute! We also held a 5-camp swim meet at our pool today, and we were victorious! Wooohoo!

But the big story in Greeley is that Olympics could break out any minute! WE WANT, WE WANT OLYMPICS! OLYMPICS! WE WANT OLYMPICS WE WANT IT NOW! IF WE DON’T GET IT WE’LL HAVE A COW! WE WANT WE WANT OLYMPIC DAYS! OLYMPIC DAYS!

Stay tuned, folks!
