Lake Wallenpaupack is 13 miles long with 52 miles of shoreline. It’s the third biggest lake in Pennsylvania, and most importantly, it’s where our campers go everyday to waterski! We love Lake Wally! And it’s only nine miles away! Our private, beloved (but small!) Lake Selma is perfect for swimming and non-motorized boating, but we prefer keeping motorized and non-motorized sports separate and heading off to Lake Wallenpaupack for special motorized fun. How does it work? Well, we have three boats on Lake Wallenpaupack and take 15-20 campers out to the big lake each day. Campers spend the entire morning or afternoon on the lake, and it becomes a special adventure that campers remember long after camp ends. Lake Wallenpaupack has a special place in a Timber Tops girl’s heart.

Lake Wallenpaupack also happens to be the name of the local high school that hosts our annual Pike County inter-camp track meet! Today was an AWESOME day for Timber Tops with highlights including Lia and Hannah running two miles in just fifteen minutes! And Leah ran a mile in 7 minutes! Timber Tops girls are unstoppable!

Tonight? TIMBER TOPS IDOL! The winner of tonight’s Timber Tops Idol will compete in Pike County Idol tomorrow against other camps! We’ve said it before but we’ll say it again: never a dull moment in Greeley, PA!
