They’re here! It’s happening! Second session is in full swing! We are SO excited to welcome and welcome back our CTT sisters.

The NYC/Westchester bus, a Philadelphia-area bus, and a Maryland-area bus arrived this morning by lunchtime, and cars filled with excited campers trickled in throughout the morning as well. By bedtime tonight we’ll even have four Chinese campers with us at camp, two are returning from last summer, and their bunk mates are beyond excited to welcome their summer sisters back to Greeley!

Lunchtime today was filled with roaring cheers and songs, welcoming our second session campers and also expressing particular excitement for a CTT lunch favorite: chicken patties! YES! This afternoon we beat the heat by spending a good portion of the day at the pool. Pool party! We also made sure that all second-session campers had health and lice checks as well. OH, and our 15 and under volleyball team beat the girls at Pine Forest! And though our flag football game against Pine Forest wasn’t quite a win, it was definitely filled with sportsman, spirit and fun, fun, fun. And we think that makes us all winners.

For full-season campers, Visiting Day is this upcoming Sunday (second session campers, your children will be whisked away for a day of fun outside of camp)! Guess what? The tent went up today! AH! It’s happening! We are SO excited to see you!

Tonight, it’s the staff show! We’ll sing and dance and laugh the night away as one whole camp. Wooohooo! The fun never stops under the Greeley sky, folks! Tune in to tomorrow’s Timber Talk for more from down the winding road! Life is good in Greeley!
