It was a great day in Greeley and beyond! Let’s start with the “beyond:” it’s trip week! As we reported a few days ago, our 10th graders are in Montreal and our 9th graders in New England (Boston, Maine, and Rhode Island)! Hi-Seniors have been having a great time, and they’re closing in on the end of Day 2. Our Lo-Seniors left this morning to begin their whirlwind adventure. Here’s what they have in store:

7th Grade

7th graders headed to the Adirondack Mountains! Today, they conquered Six Flags Great Escape in Lake George! Tonight? A relaxing dinner cruise on magnificent Lake George.

Tomorrow will bring Howe Caverns (which is so awesome!) and then Cooperstown, NY for a memorable visit to the Baseball Hall of Fame and an afternoon meandering around Cooperstown. The girls will stop for dinner at a local restaurant before heading back to camp tomorrow evening!

8th Grade

Vermont! Today our campers left Greeley for their first stop at Shelburne Farms, a 1400-acre working farm on the shores of Lake Champlain. Next, the Vermont Teddy Bear Company! Then, beautiful Burlington! Campers visited Church Street Marketplace for strolling, dinner, and a historical cruise on the lake.

After spending the night at the University of Vermont, our campers will head to Bromley Mountain Adventure Park for a day of fun and adventure! Then it’s off to Ben & Jerry’s Ice Cream Factory! On the way back to camp we’ll stop for Dinosaur BBQ! Not a bad few days up north!

Juniors

Meanwhile in Greeley, JUNIORS RULE! Our Juniors had a great “Switch Day” with Lake Owego! First, all Junior Lake Owego boys came to CTT, and we did one big Junior Choice morning, Timber Tops style! After a coed Timber Tops lunch (the boys couldn’t believe our singing and cheering), we headed to Lake Owego to try out their activities for the afternoon! It was so much fun! Tonight, we’re pooped! Girls only drive-in movie time! Yes! We’re looking forward to another day of wacky Junior scheduling tomorrow. Stay tuned!
