Do you know, parents, that #timbertopstuesday is a thing? If you’re on Instagram, check it out! Though it’s quiet during summer months, we have over 3,000 posts for #timbertopstuesday online! During the year, campers and counselors post their favorite memories of the summer, and it’s a great way to think GREELEY year-round! Anyway, Happy #timbertopstuesday !
This Timber Tops Tuesday has been a great one down the winding road. Due to early morning rain, we called a late sleep and began our day with second period (after breakfast and lineup, of course). The remainder of the morning was beautiful (it only rained again during lunch!). We had a delicious grove breakfast for bunks Oak and Poplar (every bunk gets a turn). They loved the eggs to order, chocolate chip pancakes, breakfast sandwiches and hot chocolate with whipped cream. Our fabulous new BBQ pit is new this year, and we love it already. Oh, and did you hear the news? Kelli Moshen is back! Last year Kelli Moshen, founder of Project Moshen Dance Company, was such a hit that she’s back this summer teaching intensive dance workshops. We had so many girls sign up today, and it was a great morning of instruction. More of Kelli in days to come! Speaking of special events, our Top Cooks went to the Culinary Institute of America today for a tour and special lunch! SO COOL!
And the highlight of the day is a pretty big one: JUNIOR LIP SYNC! Juniors rule tonight and can’t wait to present their bunk dances to the camp! Oh, and we hear rumblings of something special happening after tonight’s evening activity…. Only time will tell! Tune in later!
PS- Our 11th graders in Costa Rica have just finished their rafting adventure and had the time of their lives! Pura Vida!
