We’ve said it before and we’ll say it again: camp is all about the people!

As you know, a year ago we built a new (beautiful!) health center in the middle of camp. But more importantly, that health center houses three incredible nurses who work day and night making sure that every camper is safe and feels taken care of during the summer (we have a camp doctor, too, of course).

We’re also so fortunate to have Rachel, our head nurse, with us year round. Rachel is married to Johnny, and they work as part of the director team at Lake Owego, our brother camp. Rachel is unbelievable! She’s a nurse, she’s a lifeguard, she’s a mom, and she’s part of our camp family! We couldn’t be luckier.
