As a surprise to no one, it was another GREAT and busy day at camp!
This morning, many of us (255 of us to be exact!) began the day with a cool, 6:30AM dip in Lake Selma as part of THE POLAR BEAR CLUB! Our Polar Bears elected to wake up before the sun, jump into the lake, sing three songs, and run back to shore all for bragging rights, hot chocolate, cookies and, if they do it three days over the course of the summer, a Polar Bear Club t-shirt. We just think it’s amazing that the majority of our campers here opt to participate! Timber Tops girls are just the campiest around! We are so proud!
It became clear soon after Polar Bear Club that this would be a rainy, special-activity day in Greeley. And, in truth, we welcome a rainy day at CTT, because our rainy day activities are SO much fun! Rainy day program included:
Juniors & Intermediates: Action Auction & Know Your Counselor
Seniors: Know Your Counselor & Fort Building
Hi Seniors: Name That Tune & Fort Building!
Oh, and how could we forget? PCR tests for all! We’ll share more information when we have it, of course!
After last night’s AMAZING Senior Lip Sync (which we have on film! Stay tuned!), the juniors have been busy preparing for their turn on Tuesday!
Tonight, since we’ve got a clear sky for now, we’re off to regularly scheduled evening program! For Juniors and Inters: Minute to Win It! For Low Seniors: PANIC! For Hi-Seniors: Human Anagrams!
Never a dull moment, folks! Tune in tomorrow for all things CTT!
