Have you ever been so excited about something that you “freeze” when it comes to writing or talking about the subject? Me too!

Camp is just about the only thing that has ever done that to me; the mere idea that the summer is coming up brings about hesitation to even begin all of the preparation because I do not want it to ever end! There are too many reasons to count as to why I feel this way, the best are: the winding road, the thoughts of boisterous laughter and singing, fun outfits at line-up, break-out, new projects, and of course the feeling of a sister’s arm around your shoulder while singing at a campfire under the stars. For all of these reasons and some yet to experience that will one day be on this list, I embark on my 8th summer as the Head of Arts and Crafts. Hi Ladies, I am Allison (Ali Taub) Trevaskis, a NY certified Art Educator and PE Educator, currently teaching in NYC. Spending my summers at CTT has been incredibly special to me, I cannot wait to see all of your smiling faces and meet the new ones, as we share another summer together, creating, sculpting, printing, gluing, painting, jeweling, glazing, repairing, and transforming ordinary summer days into extraordinary memories.
