July 17!

It’s another one for the books over here! Did you see photos from last night’s Backtrack Vocals concert?! It was SO much fun. We had the best time! And, between us, while Backtrack was GREAT, the best part was singing and dancing with our summer sisters. We were all stars of the show!

And it was a gorgeous Greeley day today. After rain throughout the night, we woke up to clear skies and a Thursday late sleep – the dream! We enjoyed funfetti pancakes for breakfast (with whipped cream and strawberries and blueberries), and then we were off! On Thursdays, on SFA days, we participate in supervised free activities. Activities are open for free choice, but a choice can also be just hangin’ with friends, relaxing, and, of course, jibbitz trading! And on Thursdays, on SFA days, in addition to playing tennis, swimming in the pool, jumping on wibits and perfecting our friendship bracelet making in A&C, some of our awesome activity heads plan extra-special happenings. Today, for example, our outdoor rec and adventure staff created a camp-wide scavenger hunt activity! And our 9th and 11th graders headed to Costa’s! Thursdays are particularly great days at camp. But aren’t they all!

As this blogger types the following she knows she says the same thing time and time again but… It’ll be another extra-special, awesome night down the winding road! Juniors in 2nd through 5th graders will be playing “Guess Your Best!” And our oldest juniors, 6th graders, will join the seniors for an social with Lake Owego and special guest… ROCK IT ENTERTAINMENT! It’s hard to believe, but this special social marks our last of the first session, and though we’re not winding down, we sure are appreciating every moment.

Goodnight from Greeley!
