Monday Funday!

It’s been a great day at CTT, but truth be told, most days are pretty petty great!

This morning we enjoyed a much-needed, highly anticipated LATE SLEEP! We always enjoy Monday late sleeps, but on top of it being a Monday it was a perfectly rainy day. While it may sound radical to call a rainy day perfect, after the heat we’ve had and so many sunny days, it was a welcome respite. We were thrilled! And the timing couldn’t have been better for hot chocolate and cinnamon buns with our breakfast and a lazy morning of junior lip sync practice (for lip sync tonight!) and senior trip packing for our seniors.

The afternoon was sunny and gorgeous and we were back to regular programming. Hoorah! Some special happenings though did include a 9th grade canoe trip on the Delaware River, a Top Cooks trip to the local Moka Chocolate Factory, brother/sister visiting with PFC and an all-camp general swim at Lake Selma!

Tomorrow, our 9th, 10th, and 11th graders leave on their senior trips, and though we’ll miss them, there’s plenty of fun in store here in Greeley! Tomorrow will be a regular day here at camp with 8th graders taking the reins as camp leaders! Then, Wednesday, once our 7th and 8th graders head out on their trips,  JUNIORS RULE! But we won’t get too ahead of ourselves.

All good in Greeley, folks! We’ve said it before and we’ll say it again: we’re making every moment count. Off to junior lip sync we go!
