Another beautiful, sun-kissed day here in Greeley! We kicked off the morning with a cozy breakfast of eggs, fresh berries, Texas French toast, and French toast sticks – the perfect fuel for Junior Choice & a Senior “White” schedule day. While our oldest campers follow their own schedules (which alternate between red and white days), juniors spent the morning choosing between dance (working on some new moves, moms and dads!), creature catching, Lake Selma adventures, tennis, gaga, music, biking, jogging, soccer, and newcomb. So many options before sitting down for one of camp’s favorite lunches: turkey taco bar with both soft and hard shells and all the toppings you could want. Do you know the guacamole song? We sure do!

A highlight of the afternoon was seeing juniors creek stomping over at Mitchell Creek – so much laughter and splashing. And both juniors and seniors started play practice today with read throughs and soundtrack reviews. And, of course, Big/Little Sister fun is in full swing here at CTT. During these first few days, returning campers secretly leave little gifts, notes, and surprises for their little sisters – like secret admirers! Your big sister might make your bed while you’re at breakfast, leave a bedtime note tucked under your pillow, or send you a friendship bracelet at lunch. It’s so special to give and receive these anonymous treats, and even more exciting when big sisters finally reveal themselves at the Big/Little campfire… which is TOMORROW night!

But first, tonight’s evening programs: Minute to Win It for juniors and Against The Odds for seniors, plus our first canteen of the summer – yum! There’s so much to look forward to under these Greeley skies.
