Good afternoon from Greeley, PA! It’s been a gorgeous, warm day down the winding road. And it’s Thursday! So it’s SFA Day! On SFA Days we enjoy late sleep and Supervised Free Activities. We plan special happenings, and campers can opt into all or none as they see fit! Some campers take advantage of our lake inflatables, some creature catch, some play in a game of pickleball, some tie dye, some hang in front of the bunk and read or trade jibitz…The possibilities are endless!
But today’s SFA theme was…OLYMPICS! We taught and played Rugby on the upper field, we had a special Olympic gymnastics clinic and so much more! We also ate pancakes for breakfast, sent out our final canoe trips of the summer, sat outside for grove lunch (hamburgers, hotdogs and more!), and enjoyed a special afternoon visit from Kona Ice!
Tonight, it’s The Masked Singer for evening program! It’s a new evening activity around here, and we can’t wait! More to come!
