The Kaplan Family has an awesome tradition. Instead of buying cards for holidays, each member of the family writes a letter to read aloud to the person celebrating an occasion. On Mother’s Day, Timber Tops camper Alyssa wrote a letter to her Timber Tops alumna mom, Caryl. Here’s an excerpt from that letter:

“In case I haven’t already told you, the best decision you ever made in your whole life was sending me to camp! I think I love that place more than you do and I am so glad you shared that amazing place with me! I love you so much and I hope you have an amazing Mother’s Day!”

Timber Tops girls: remember to THANK YOUR PARENTS for the gift of camp! Parents: there’s no greater gift you can give than a summer home like Timber Tops!
