Greetings from the Pocono Mountains!
As you can see from photos uploaded today, it’s been another great and busy day down the winding road. You may have also noticed that we added some additional photos from Costa’s and Junior “Panic” from the other day for your viewing pleasure, and we hope you enjoy those, too! And, of course, we hope you’ve checked out the Week 1 video, posted on Instagram and Facebook today and also viewable here! We’ll post weekly videos each Saturday to give you a window into camp happenings, but as GREAT as they are (and boy, are they great!), video recaps pale in comparison to real life here in Greeley. There’s just nothing like it.
Today, alas, we experienced our first rainy inconveniences during 1st period and 6th period (General Swim), but the rest of the day was action-packed! We creek stomped, we pickle balled, we play practiced, we paddle boarded…It was a pretty typical, extraordinary day (as so many of our days are at camp)! And now the sun’s out again!
Pizza lunch and Chinese Food dinner are fueling what looks to be an EPIC night under the Greeley sky: SENIOR LIP SYNC! Every 7th-10th grade bunk has chosen a song and dance and will perform for the entire camp tonight (think MTV music videos)! And juniors have been practicing too! They’ll have their turn in just a few more days! And here’s the good news, folks! We’ll post videos of each bunk, so you won’t miss a beat (and your camper will watch it on repeat for the next 10 months)!
One final note! Though weekends are pretty much the same as every other day at camp, we DO welcome Play Day campers (and their parents) on weekends! If you know of anyone thinking Summer 2025, now’s the time to see CTT in action! Great Timber Tops families know great *future* Timber Tops families, so thanks for thinking of us and sending other wonderful future campers down the winding road to CTT!
